First off, I USED to be a loyal client of this store. Secondly, BRITNEY is the ONLY reason I will never step foot in this store again. IF she gets fired, I'll reconsider. She is rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, spiteful, and doesn't belong anywhere near customers. She obviously doesn't like to work because every single time I've brought stuff in to sell when she is here, she's turned me away saying that they're done for the day. The store now has a sign (which was NOT there before her) saying they stop after a certain volume. I guess that volume is reached whenever she doesn't feel like doing her job anymore, and must be fluid to how lazy she's feeling that day. She doesn't even apologize when she turns people away either--she simply snaps at you that they're no longer buying and today she added to come back tomorrow at 9am because *that* is when they'll start buying again. Her snarky attitude is completely unnecessary. I have complained on her before with the owner, and I was left with the impression that her attitude would be dealt with and it wouldn't happen again. Obviously, that was me putting too much faith in the owner to actually care how her clientele gets treated. The ONLY nice person in that entire establishment is Sylvia. She's consistently sweet, helpful, kind, understanding, and provides assistance whenever necessary. I've also donated car seats, toys, and almost $500 dollars worth of clothes--so I'm not just here to sell stuff to make money. And even if I were, to be treated in such a manner regardless is despicable. Anna Greene should be ashamed of her staff and how she allows them to treat people. It's abhorrent, and I know that unless it's rectified ASAP, it's cost her a customer permanently.

They are the RUDEST people I have ever encountered in my life. Beyond rude and their attitude is nasty. They need to be closed down and they will tell you one thing and do another. The one on Niagara Falls Blvd is horrible and their attitudes are really atrocious. One of the workers tried arguing with me.

I would like to make a complaint about the store in Texarkana. They posted a sign on the door starting they have reached their max pay out for the day and they will gladly take items for cash tomorrow. That's fine but the store opens at 10:00 and it's just now 10:32!!! Furthermore, this store is known to offer certain races more than other races!!!

False Advertising

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I would like to make a complaint. I was in your Arlington store yesterday when it was 60% off and the signs displayed in the store didn't state that the items had to have a yellow dot on them for this discount. What they did state was all items. I think this is false advertising. The size I needed not one yellow sticker in. I have shopped your store in the past with no problem. But thst day I did. Your signs are miss leading and when I brought this up in the store the staff didn't really care. Also, asking customers to by pass bags for their clothes cause you are going bagless is ridiculous. You don't pay anything on clothes when buying and miss lead customers with false advertising about your sales. Not sure what has happened to your management lately but I use to recommend you to my friends. That will not happen anymore after my experience yesterday.

Kid To Kid - Kids Clothing Review from Colleyville, Texas

I left items at a resale shop, Kid to Kid in Lewisville, TX. It was an awful experience! Not only did they offer me a $1 for most of my items that were high end name brands or boutique items, but I was NEVER informed that if I left the store (because she was behind) that I would not have the option to accept on offer! By the time I returned (24 hrs later - again she was behind), my items were placed on the rack for sale. The employee disclosed, that I should stay in the store & basically look over her shoulder, to accept or decline an offer, after she informed what I was being offered for my items! I honestly would've rather donated the items to someone else, then let this business take advantage of me! I WILL NEVER BUY OR SELL ANYTHING HERE, & I WILL MAKE SURE OTHERS HEAR ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE! May have made money on me this time, but will loose the potential revenue from myself & others!

Worst experience at a kids store ever!

Kid to Kid Phoenix (on Tatum) treated me so poorly I cannot believe they are a business catered to children. The staff is unfriendly and they knowingly sell broken merchandise. I recently purchased a used "Maclaren" stroller for my special needs son to visit a hospital back east. When I arrived at the airport and opened the stroller, the brakes were broken, and the back tire was coming off, making it impossible to even use it! When I returned from our hospital trip I visited Kid to Kid Tatum in Phoenix. They refused to do anything about the situation. It took the owner Chris Fay 10 days to get back to me after I tried calling multiple times to get a resolution. When Christine C Fay finally called back she had a terrible attitude and was extremely nasty. If you want good customer service or to be treated nicely don't shop at this store. If you are looking for baby items go elsewhere and save your time and money!

I shop a lot of resale, including Kid to Kid stores, and I make sure to test out the items before purchasing. If I happen to get home and something doesn't work, I will call the store right away to see if something can be done.

usually they work with you, but I wouldn't imagine coming in a couple months later saying they sold me a damaged product. At that point, it is your loss!

Did you not read that the customer was taking their child to a hospital back east? As a mother of 4, I could understand that the customer was too busy taking care of a sick kid to worry about calling the store right away.

Also, some of the comments on the filtered section of Yelp indicate that people have purchased broken items from Kid to Kid Tatum over the years.

The owner needs to be more sensitive to her clients.

Seems to me like the owner doesn't know the golden rule that the customer is always right.

As the owner of Kid to Kid on Tatum I am appalled at the way Ian is handling this situation. The stroller in mention was purchased Jan 16th, and then mid March they tried to sell it back to us.

When my employee told Ian's wife that the stroller was broken and we could not purchase it she then asked that we return it. Our return policy clearly states all items other than clothing and shoes are final sale. This is when her husband (Ian) got involved and we explained the return policy to him. He was never yelled at or treated unfairly.

We are very diligent and checking over what we purchase into the store so that we are not reselling broken or damaged items to our customers. We take great pride in our customer service and a clean, neat, trustworthy atmosphere.

This stroller clearly was not broken when it was purchased, one because we would not have sold it that way and two how would have Ian's wife strolled it out of the store with a broken wheel. I welcome anyone reading this to come visit us and see firsthand our wonderful store.

Don't you think since you were purchasing a used item you should have tested it/ checked it out before making the purchase?

It is interesting to note how many other negative reviews this location has over the years on Yahoo, RipOffReport.com, and even Yelp (even though lots of the yelp reviews seem to be filtered).
